In the evening of 9 January 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail attended a New Year reception hosted by Ms. Yang Yanyan, Chairperson of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee, at Nanning Grand Metropark Hotel.
In his address, the Consul General highlighted the significance of the Year 2024 as it marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Malaysia-China relations. He added that the Consulate will continue to cooperate and support any effort by the Guangxi Government that would lead towards broadening and deepening the economic partnerships between Malaysia and Guangxi.
The program was wrapped up with a lucky draw. Also in attendance were Vice Consul Ms. Farah Eliza Mansor, Consuls General of ASEAN missions in Nanning and company representatives of local chambers of commerce.
