Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria made appearance in a live commerce to promote specialty from Malaysia and Guangxi on 28 March 2022 in Nanning.
The Consul General specially introduced Malaysia’s premium durian – Musang King, white coffee and milk tea to Chinese consumers via Douyin - China’s tiktok; while in the exportation studio, he also shared some featured local products from Guangxi, such as teas, oranges as well as bird’s nest, one of the highlighted cooperation achievements between the government of Malaysia and China (Guangxi) to Malaysian viewers on Lazada.
“I am really confident that the cross-border e-commerce cooperation between Malaysia and China and in particular Guangxi is set to grow even bigger as both sides are very serious about the growth of this sector. A program such as today’s is a good example of how both sides are working together to reach a wider base by diversifying our approach to our prospective buyers. ” said the Consul General during an interview with media during the live streaming.
The event was hosted by Nanning Foreign Affairs Office and foreign missions in Nanning. Also made promotions during the live commerce were Consuls General of Thailand and Vietnam.
