The Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria received Mr. Shi Donglong, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on 11 August 2021 at Chancery.
Mr. Shi expressed his appreciation for Consul General’s efforts to promote the two-way exchanges and cooperation between Malaysian and Guangxi over the past years. He further briefed the Consul General on the status and arrangement for the 18th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) which is scheduled to be held from 10 to 13 September 2021 in hybrid format. Mr. Shi also expressed his hope to receive support from Malaysia to this annual high-level event.
The Consul General said the CAEXPO is an important platform to promote Malaysia’s tourism, culture, trade and investment. Malaysia will give its full cooperation and support to this year’s event and work together to make it a great success.
