Mr.Muzambli Markam, Consul General of Malaysia in Guangzhou hosted the 1st ASEAN Consul General's Quaterly Meeting in 2015 on Wednesday, 28 January 2015.
The event was held at the Futian Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen. Present during the meeting was the Consuls General from Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
In addition to the ASEAN Consul General Meeting, a special briefing on the newly announced Qian Hai Free Trade Zone (FTCZ) was arranged with the assistance from Shenzhen Foreihn Affairs Office. Mr. Wang Yuwen, Vice President of Shenzhen Friendship Association, Ms. Xiw Jie, Director Of Foreign Affairs Bureu and Mr. Wang Jinxia, Qian Hai FTZ Secretary Division Director was present to brief the meeting on the latest development in Shenzhen and on the FTZ
