In the morning of 07 March 2024, Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail had an interview session with Guangxi Radio and Television on China’s “two sessions” and China-Malaysia cooperation, at the Chancery.
The Consul General expressed his views on the ongoing Two Sessions. He opined that the government report is important as it sets the tone for China’s government work in 2024 and conveys China’s messages to the world. He then further expressed his confidence with the economic growth target of 5% set by Chinese government this year which he believed is realistic and achievable.
The Consul General also highlighted the achievements made in economy and people-to-people exchanges between Malaysia and China over the past year. He shared that both sides are looking at promoting more cooperation in the fields of digital economy, halal industry, traditional Chinese medicine, health development, and TVET.
