The 16th China-ASEAN Cultural Forum kicked off on 23 July 2021 in Nanning, Guangxi, featuring the exploration of high quality development and international cooperation of cultural industry between China and ASEAN member countries.
The Hon. Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia delivered a video speech, sharing her insights into cultural exchanges and cooperation with other countries and Malaysia’s cultural development at the opening ceremony.
The event was sponsored by Ministry of Culture and Tourism China (MCT) and the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, organized by International Exchanges and Cooperation Bureau of MCT, Publicity Department of CPC Guangxi Committee, and Guangxi Department of Culture and Tourism.
Also present at the event were the Hon. Fan Xiaoli, Head of the Publicity Department of CPC Guangxi Committee, the Hon. Li Bin, Vice Governor of Guangxi Government and Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria and his counterparts from ASEAN member countries in Nanning.
