NANNING, 27 September 2019 – Malaysia Commodity Pavilion at China-ASEAN Expo 2019 (CAEXPO 2019) was officially launched by YB Minister MITI together with Consul General of Malaysia in Nanning, Chairman and CEO MATRADE as well as two (2) Selangor EXCOs on 20 September 2019.
Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) spearheaded the participation of Malaysian companies at the 16th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) 2019 in Nanning, China from 21 – 24 September 2019 aiming to boost the access of Malaysian companies to not only China, but ASEAN and countries located along the Belt and Road Initiatives (BRI) route.
Led by YB Datuk Darell Leiking, the Minister of International Trade and Industry, this year’s edition had seen the participation of 167 Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) offering various Malaysian-made products and services.
The Malaysian Pavilion won two awards from the organiser -- “Best Trade and Economy Outcome”, and “Best Trade Visitor Organiser”.
