On 18 July 2025, the Consul General Mr. Ahmad Phadil Ismail paid a visit to Ms. Yang Yanyan, Chairperson of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee.
The meeting highlighted the potential of the upcoming 22nd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) and China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO). Discussions focused on leveraging this platform to support Malaysia’s business community, especially SMEs, to tap into Chinese market.
Both sides also explored ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation between Malaysia and Guangxi.
Also in attendance were Dato’ Khairul Shahril Hamzah, CEO of HQC Commerce Sdn. Bhd. and the company’s General Manager Mr. Low Keen Wai.
