The World Tourism Conference (WTC) is an exclusive conference held every 3 years by Malaysia in collaboration with the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). WTC 2019 will take place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 26 - 28 August 2019.
The theme of the WTC 2019 is “Beyond Tourism – Beyond Expectation”. The conference serves as a platform for key leaders of the tourism sector, policy makers and experts from the public and private sectors around the world to share experiences, add thoughtful ideas and present trends, directions and visions for tourism development progress global.
In addition, specially invited panellists are well-known names among major players in the tourism industry including H.E. Jack Ma, YBhg. Tan Sri Dr. Anthony Francis Fernandes and more. The program will be officiated by the Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture with the Ministry's Higher Management.
