On 20 April 2026, the Consul General, Mr. Mohd Shahafeez Shaharis, met with a delegation of Malaysian business leaders and founders from EOX, led by the Dynamic China Organizing Chair, Mr. David Wong, during their visit to Shanghai.
Mr. Shahafeez was invited as the Guest of Honour for a tour of the Huawei R&D Centre in Qingpu. The visit offered valuable insights into Huawei’s latest advancements in technology, innovation and research.
Following the tour, the Consul General attended a networking dinner. This session provided an excellent platform for the Consulate General and EOX members to engage, share experiences and discuss opportunities for meaningful cross-border collaboration.
