The Consulate General of Malaysia in Shanghai was invited to attend the Fudan University International Culture Fair on 28 May 2026, in support of the Malaysian Cultural Showcase organized by the Malaysians in Fudan (MIF) student association.
In conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026, the participation of MIF at the fair aimed to promote Malaysia’s rich multicultural heritage to the university community, including both local and international students.
During the event, Malaysian students participated in an ethnic fashion show, demonstrated the traditional game of congkak and presented traditional cuisines such as pulut kuning, beef rendang and kuih bakar pandan.
