On 26 March 2026, the Consulate General of Malaysia, in collaboration with Westin Desaru Coast Resort, organised a culinary demonstration “Taste of Malaysia” in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026. Chef Sam Saimon Bueng mesmerised the guests with his culinary expertise in the preparation of Malaysian delicacies – Nasi Lemak and Curry Laksa. The event targeted the media and influencers, hoteliers, and industry representatives.
