On 14 November 2024, Mr. Lum Wan Liang, the Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, attended the 2024 Chang’an Conference on Commercial Legal Services at Xi’an Boffo L’Hotel. The Chang’an Conference is set to become a leading event in the commercial legal services field. It will help improve the quality of international commercial legal services in Xi'an, support upgrades in these services, and assist Xi'an in becoming a preferred area for commercial legal services. Additionally, it aims to create a strong business environment based on the rule of law, promote the modernization of foreign-related legal practices, and establish innovative approaches to resolving commercial disputes related to the "Belt and Road" initiative. This will help foster a supportive legal environment for greater openness.
