On 18 March 2026, Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, Ms Farah Rakesh, participated in the 2026 Most Beautiful Rape Flower Sea: Hanzhong Tourism and Culture Festival, and the Crested Ibis Cultural Exchange and Spring Investment Promotion Week in Hanzhong, hosted by the Shaanxi Foreign Affairs Office. The opening ceremony was held at Huangtang Water Village in Hantai District, Hanzhong City, and the Crested Ibis Cultural Exchange & Spring Investment Promotion Week was held at the Tianhan Jingyi Hotel, both of which were officiated by Mayor Wang Jianping. In the event, CG Farah also delivered a remark highlighting potential future collaborations with Hanzhong City.
