4 March 2024 – Ma Yutian, the Chief Representative of the Gansu Commercial Representative Office in Malaysia, along with Mr. Ma, Mr. Zhao Qiang, Executive Director of the International Collaborative Innovation Center under the Joint Construction of the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Malaya, and Mr. Yu Hai, Chairman of the Silk Road Aksu Barter Research Institute, paid a courtesy visit to Consul General Lum Wan Liang. During the meeting, they discussed the events planned by Gansu to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China. They are also planning to collaborate with universities in Xi'an, such as Xi'an Jiaotong University, in partnership with the University of Malaya.
