Consul General received a courtesy call by Mr. Kang Zhanping, Director-General of the Foreign (Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macao) Affairs Office of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on 7 February 2018. Mr. Kang Zhanping was accompanied by Mr. Hu Yunling, Deputy Director-General, Mr. Zhang Huaiyi, Deputy Director-General, Ms. Ma Wenli, Director of General Office, Mr. Zhang Yiqun, Director of Overseas Visits for Public Affairs Division, Mr. Li Qing, Director of Asian and African Affairs Division and Mr. Li Zhao, Interpreter.
Consul General and Mr. Kang exchanged views on ways of strengthening the bilateral ties between Malaysia and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, in particular in the fields of halal food and product certification, education, science and technology, tourism as well as enhancement of people-to-people contact.
