Ms Farah Rakesh, Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, paid a courtesy call on Ms Yao Hongjuan, Director-General of Foreign Affairs (FAO) of the Shaanxi province, on 13 March 2026. During the meeting, both sides agreed to enhance practical cooperation between the Consulate General of Malaysia and the Shaanxi Provincial Government in the areas of trade and investment, education, culture and tourism, health and other emerging areas of cooperation.
