Consul General Lum met with Mr. Zhang Baojun, Director General of Gansu Provincial Foreign Affairs Office on 24 June 2022. Mr. Zhang welcomeD the Consulate and MATRADE and introduced Gansu’s rich history and heritage sites. He further introduced the province’s economic development and Malaysia’s cooperation and collaborations with Gansu in various sectors. The meeting also discussed the preparations leading up to the 28th Lanzhou International Trade Fair that will taking place from 7 – 11 July 2022 where Malaysia will be the Co-Country of Honour at the annual Fair.
