A Malaysian youth delegation led by Mr. Hasnul Haniff Harun, Secretary General of Malaysia Youth Council made a courtesy visit to the Consulate General on 9th May 2019. The visit was part of the Malaysia Youth Leader Silk Road Friendship Tour to Yinchuan and Xi'an from 5th – 12th May 2019, to promote mutual understanding among the youths of the two countries, organised and sponsored by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China.
Consul General received and briefed the delegation with regard to the overview of bilateral relations between Malaysia and China, in particular Shaanxi Province as well as the functions and role played by the Consulate General in enhancing the overall relations between the two sides. Consul General also had a friendly interactive session with the members of the delegation
The 24-member delegation comprised members of the Malaysia-China Friendship Association (PPMC), Malaysia Youth Council and the Association of Belt and Road Malaysia.
