Consul General received a courtesy visit of the 31-member delegation of the Associated Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak, led by Dato' Tan Jit Kee, Deputy President on 16 October 2019. Mr. Loh Kai Yong, President of Malaysia Chambers of Commerce and Industry in China (MAYCHAM China-Xi'an Chapter) was also in attendance.
Consul General briefed the delegation with regard to the overview of bilateral relations between Malaysia and China, in particular Shaanxi Province as well as the functions and role played by the Consulate General in enhancing the overall relations between the two sides. Consul General also had a friendly interactive session with the members of the delegation.
The delegation conducted a business and cultural exchange tour to Xi’an from 13-19 October 2019.
