Ms. Farah Rakesh, Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an gave a briefing entitled “To Know Malaysia, Is To Love Malaysia” at the Xi’an Fanyi University (XFU) on 18 May 2026. The session was attended by 160 students from international-related majors, including foreign language students.
The presentation was preceded by introductory remarks from Mr. Guo Wei, Vice President of XFU. The session was also attended by Mr. Zheng Xiangqian, Deputy Director of the Consular Section, Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province.
This session provided a holistic overview of Malaysia, covering its history, government, people, economy, as well as its status as an education hub and a popular tourist destination.
