On 20th April 2024, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Xian participated in the Hanova International Day 2024 held at Hanova International School. The event featured several exciting events, including parades by all the participating countries, showcasing their traditional attire. The Malaysian participants, comprising of students and parents, dressed up in Baju Melayu, Baju Kurung, and Jersi Harimau Malaya.
The participants also set up stalls representing their respective countries. The Malaysian booth was decorated with handicrafts, Tourism Malaysia products, and traditional Malaysian games such as Congkak and Batu Seremban, along with traditional musical instruments like Kompang. The event aimed to introduce Malaysia and its culture to international students. Malaysia also contributed to the food section with one of the most popular dishes, Mee Goreng, which received an overwhelming response from the visitors.
