On 3 March 2026, Ms Farah Rakesh, Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an attended the Poetic City Galloping event, held in conjunction of the New Year Lantern Festival (Chap Goh Meh) Celebration organised by Xi’an Municipal Foreign Affairs Office.
At the event, Ms Farah met with Mr Ji Wenkui, Deputy Director General of the FAO, and Mr Yang Zhen, Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office (FAO) of Xi’an, and discussed exploring new areas of cooperation among Shaanxi province, Xi’an municipality, and the Consulate General of Malaysia in Xi’an.
