Consulate General Malaysia in Xi’an celebrated a small and simple Deepavali Luncheon on 26 November 2023 at Rumah Malaysia. About 50 Malaysians of different races and backgrounds gathered at the Rumah Malaysia. Colourful and beautiful ‘kolam’ awaited near the entrance to welcome guests. The event's main highlight was the ‘Banana Leaf Platter’, where the rice and the dishes were served on the banana leaf. The guests were also entertained with Tamil and Hindi songs while enjoying their meal.
