The Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an attended the launching ceremony of the Malaysia-China Food Industry Park on July 4, 2024, at Jinghe New Town, Xixian New District, Shaanxi Province. The launch ceremony of the industrial park marks a model of city-industry integration, rich resources, international cooperation, and free trade.
As the first industrial park in northwest China, the Malaysia-China Food Industrial Park is of significant importance in regional economic development and bilateral cooperation, aiming to establish a dedicated Malaysian food industry center. At the same time, the Malaysian delegation visited some of the parks and factories in Jinghe New Town.
Through in-depth dialogue with the Jinghe New Town Management Committee, the two sides aim to strengthen investment and trade synergies, create new frontiers in the economy, and develop strategies for mutual progress. The dialogue not only highlighted the deepening economic and commercial ties between China and Malaysia but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between Malaysia and Jinghe Metro.
