The Malaysia Culture Day with the theme Blue Seas and Clear Skies was staged at the Sofitel People's Grand Theatre on 24 October 2023, launched by Consul General Lum Wan Liang. Dancers dressed in traditional Malaysian costumes dance to melodic music. Their graceful dancing and vigorous movements make people feel as if they have travelled through time to visit the cultural feast of Malaysia. These dances carry Malaysia's rich history and national culture, bringing endless surprises and touching to the audience.
The performance team were from the National Department for Culture and Arts, Kelantan, Malaysia, the Dua Space Dance Theatre, and the Association of Malaysia Students in Xi'an (AMSISX). They are professionals from different fields committed to combining Malaysia's cultural heritage, innovation and development, bringing tradition and modernity together.
