Consul General and Mr. Zalizam Zakaria, Minister (Tourism) from Embassy of Malaysia in Beijing attended the Opening Ceremony of Malaysia Nyonya Food Festival held on 27 Nov 2020 in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. The event was co-organized by the Consulate General of Malaysia in Xi’an, Gansu Provincial Commerce Department, Foreign Affairs Office and hosted by the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Lanzhou with the support of Tourism Malaysia Beijing and Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (MAYCHAM) Xi’an Chapter. The event which was attended by distinguished invitees from various provincial and municipal government agencies and culinary associations was aimed to promote the essence of multi-racial and multi-culture society and the unique diversity of food and culture of Malaysia to the people of Gansu Province.
