On 28 March 2026, the Consulate General of Malaysia organized the “Malaysian Street Food Delight,” a vibrant celebration of Malaysian street-food culture. Chef Sam Saimon demonstrated the making of Roti Jala, Mee Goreng Mamak, and Teh Tarik, showcasing Malaysia’s rich multicultural heritage. These dishes served as a window into the diversity and radiance of Malaysia’s multi-cultural heritage and in the promotion of Visit Malaysia Year 2026. Local officials, diplomats, NGO representatives, and students enjoyed this lively event.
