On 1 April 2026, YB Dato’ Seri Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia, accompanied by Ms Farah Rakesh, Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an held an official meeting with Mr Li Yifei, Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Ningxia Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Ningxia People’s Congress, at the Yuehai Hotel in Ningxia. The engagement took place on the sidelines of the 6th Belt and Road Malaysia–China Business Dialogue, held from 31 March to 2 April 2026 in Ningxia. The Dialogue serves as a pivotal platform for enhancing business engagement and fostering mutually beneficial cooperation between Malaysia and China.
