On 15 April 2026, Miss Farah Rakesh, Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, visited the Malaysia Pavilion at Routes Asia 2026 at Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was also attended by Honourable Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, and YB Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew, Deputy Minister for Tourism.
The event provides a platform for the region's airlines, airports, tourism authorities, and aviation stakeholders to meet, share best practices, and develop network strategies to ensure the future development of air services across the Asia Pacific.
