On 25 July 2023, Consulate General of Malaysia in Xi'an with the support of MAYCHAM Xi’an organized a discussion on matters related to immigration. The event was held at Yingke Xi’an Law Firm. Officials from the Public Security Bureau were also in attendance. Others were Malaysians staying in Xi’an, students, MAYCHAM Xi’an committee and also officials from the Consulate General of Malaysia in Xi’an. Approximately 50 people participated in the event which was also broadcasted live to Malaysians that were not able to attend at the physical venue.
