Ms Farah Rakesh, Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, attended the Spring Festival Reception hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Government at the Shaanxi Hotel on 13 February 2026. The reception was officiated by Mr Zhao Yide, Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), accompanied by Mr Zhao Gang, Governor of the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government. During their introduction with Ms Farah, both Secretary Zhao Yide and Governor Zhao Gang expressed appreciation for the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the Consulate General of Malaysia in Xi’an and the provincial government.
