Consul General and Vice Consul were invited to participate in the 2018 Yangling Modern Agriculture Summit by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province on 5 November 2018 in conjunction with the 25th China Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Fair (CAF) held in Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Industries Demonstration Zone.
The Summit was hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and State Administration of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and organized by the Rural Technology Development Center, Ministry of Science and Technology, Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Center, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Shaanxi Province, Shaanxi Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and Management Committee of Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Industries Demonstration Zone.
The event features more than 60 activities which involve international cooperation on agricultural technology, rural industrial integration, as well as agricultural innovation and promotion. There are more than 1,500 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions attending the annual CAF.
