The 2nd ASEAN Sports Day was held at the Xi’an Jiaotong University on 6 May 2018. The event, hosted by the Royal Consulate General of Cambodia, was aimed at enhancing the unity amongst ASEAN students in Xi’an as well as strengthening the relationship between the three ASEAN missions in Xi’an.
Consul General was invited to give a short remark and present the prizes to the participants at the closing ceremony together with Mr. Hoy Pichravuth, Consul-General of Royal Consulate-General of Cambodia and Ms. Oracha Tanakorn, Consul-General of Royal Thai Consulate-General. Mr. Xi Guang, Vice President of Xi’an Jiaotong University was the guest of honour for the event which was participated by more than 80 ASEAN students. The games played were men football match, tug of war and several traditional games of ASEAN. The students also performed several traditional dances during the closing ceremony.
