On October 28, 2023, the 4th China-Malaysia International Conference on Translation, Language and Culture was held in Chang'an Campus. Xi'an International Studies University, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Department of Languages Malaysia, and the Education Office of the Embassy of Malaysia in China jointly organized the symposium. The event was successfully organized by the School of Oriental and African Studies of Xi'an International Studies University and co-organized by the School of Languages, Literacies & Translation, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Professor Dato’ Gs. Dr. Narimah Samat, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International), and Consul General Lum Wan Liang delivered speeches respectively, expressing warm congratulations on the seminar opening and wishing the friendship between China and Malaysia and the two universities would last forever. At the end of the event, XISU signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Science Malaysia.
