Consul General was invited to attend the first general meeting of MAYCHAM China - Xi’an Chapter on 1 July 2018. Mr Will Fung, Chairman of MAYCHAM China also attended the meeting.
Consul General and Mr Fung also witnessed the process of electing the first batch of the Xi’an Chapter’s executive committee members. In the results of election of the office bearers, Mr Loh Kai Yong was successfully elected as the Chairman of the Chapter with a majority of votes. The Consulate General of Malaysia in Xi’an is pleased to play host to this inaugural meeting and wishes to congratulate the Executive Committee on its initiative to establish the Chapter in Xi’an. The Consulate General looks forward to working closely with Maycham China - Xi’an Chapter in enhancing mutual understanding and promote business linkages between Malaysia and China.
