Consul General accompanied by Vice Consul, attended the Tourism Road Show organised by the Malaysia Inbound Chinese Association (MICA) in Xi’an on 13 March 2018 at Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Consul General delivered a welcoming speech during the event which was attended by tour operators from the north-western regions of China.
Tourist arrivals from northwestern China for the past few years have been very encouraging. In 2017, a total of 2.28 million Chinese tourists had visited Malaysia, an increase of 7.4% compared to 2.12 million in 2016.
The event was aimed at establishing new friendship and business linkages between travel industries in Malaysia and northwest of China.
