The Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, along with other foreign diplomats, visited Dongfeng in Shangluo from March 18 to March 19, 2025. This visit was organized by the Shaanxi Foreign Affairs Office and aimed to provide insights into the latest developments in Shangluo's key industries. Throughout the two-day, one-night itinerary, the officials engaged in a series of activities designed to showcase the unique features of Shangluo's economy. A highlight of the program included an in-depth exploration of the Dongfeng Winery industry in the region. During this visit, the diplomats were provided with a comprehensive overview of the production processes, quality control measures, and the market potential of locally produced red wines, along with opportunities for tasting and direct interaction with local vintners. This experience underscored the significance of the wine sector in Shangluo’s economic landscape and its potential for international trade.
