The Consul General, Mr. Lum Wan Liang, visited Ningqiang County in Hanzhong City from April 8 to April 9, 2025. This visit was organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of Shaanxi Province.
The visit began with a tour of the Qianshan Tea Plantation, where Mr. Lum gained insights into the cultivation, processing, and production methods of the local tea industry. Ningqiang County is renowned for its ideal climate and soil, which contribute to a thriving tea industry that focuses on organic farming and high-quality standards. The tea produced in the area is famous for its rich aroma and health benefits, playing a vital role in local economic growth by creating jobs and increasing farmers' incomes.
During the visit, the Consul General planted a "Friendship Tree" to symbolize the strong ties between Malaysia and China, reflecting a commitment to cooperation and cultural exchange.
