The Ambassador of Malaysia to Germany, H.E. Dato’ Zulkifli Adnan, in his capacity as the Chairman of the Berlin ASEAN Committee, led the ASEAN Ambassadors to a meeting with H.E. Dr. Thomas Gambke, Chairman of the ASEAN Friendship Group and in the German Parliament and 7 other German Parliamentarians. The meeting was held at the Bundestag on 18 February 2016. The meeting is part of the initiative to forge closer relations between ASEAN and Germany. Among the topics discussed include the outcomes of the ASEAN-US Leaders’ Summit in Sunnylands USA, the South China Sea issue, climate change and renewable energy.
