H.E Armin Laschet, the Minister President of North Rhine Westphalia welcomed ASEAN Ambassadors in Germany during their visit to the federal state on 8 November 2017. The trip to NRW was part of Berlin ASEAN Committee’s (BAC) efforts to promote ASEAN as destination for foreign investments.
The Minister President congratulated the ambassadors on the 50th anniversary of ASEAN. He stated that ASEAN is important for Germany and North Rhine-Westphalia and look forward to deepening trade and investment relations with the region. TUI, the world's leading travel company top executives also delivered a talk on sustainable tourism during the meeting.
