Chinese New has arrived! Malaysians in and around Berlin celebrated Chinese New Year in a “pot-luck dinner” organized by Kelab Malaysia Berlin with the cooperation of the Malaysian Embassy on Saturday 5th February 2011 at the Embassy’s Atrium. Ambassador Dato’ Ibrahim Abbdullah and more than 60 Malaysians together with their families and friends, staff of the Embassy, as well as Malaysian students attended the event.
It is an event that has always been in the calendar for Malaysians here as it provides the ambience for them Malaysians away from home, sharing experience and predicament.
The highlight of the Chinese New Year celebration was the cultural show featuring group and individual performances. The finale of the event was a lucky draw offering many attractive prizes contributed by members of Kelab Malaysia Berlin.
