On 17 July 2015, the Embassy of Malaysia joined Muslims around the world in celebrating Eidulfitr to mark the conclusion of the month of Ramadhan. The event to celebrate Eidulfitr at the Embassy began in the morning with the recital of takbir by members of the Malaysian Embassy and the Muslim Malaysian community around Germany. An Eidulfitr prayer led by Mr. Bakar Idris was performed, followed by a Khutbah titled “Tautan Kasih Pelengkap 'EidulFitri”. Guests were later treated to a spread of traditional Malaysian Eidulfitr dishes such as Rendang, Lodeh, Nasi Impit and many others.
