To kick start 2016, the Embassy and the Malaysia Club Berlin (MCB) organized a New Year get-together at the Embassy on 9 January. Fresh from the holiday season, the get-together provided an opportunity for club members to catch up, and for newcomers, to get to know one another. Also present at the event was Ambassador of Malaysia to the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Dato’ Zulkifli Adnan and wife, Datin Siti Hawa Othman; and members of the Embassy.
MCB also took the opportunity to present members with their membership cards. And naturally, a gathering of Malaysians would not be complete without Malaysian delicacies. Each brought something to share. Traditional, modern, Malaysian, German, there were a wide variety of dishes on the table. Some also took the floor to show off their singing talents during the karaoke session. It was a cozy, warm and fun-filled evening indoor, away from the cold Berlin winter outside.
