On 14 February 2026, Munich - H.E. Ambassador Mohamad Razdan Jamil met with Mr. Wouter Van Wersch, President International and Member of the Executive Committee of Airbus, as well as Ms. Karen Apitzsch, Director for International Government Affairs of Airbus at Sofitel Munich Bayerpost. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on Malaysia–Germany cooperation in the aviation and defence sectors, as well as potential areas for future collaboration. Both sides also discussed broader developments in the global aviation industry. The Embassy welcomed Airbus’ continued interest in strengthening cooperation with Malaysia, and reaffirmed our country's commitment to further engage with German and European stakeholders in strategic sectors of mutual benefit.
