YAB Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim paid a courtesy call on German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at Bellevue Palace on 11 March 2024.
During the call, both sides exchanged views on economic cooperation, education as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest, particularly the situation in Palestine.
The Federal President visited Malaysia in February last year, where he said Malaysia is a key destination for German companies to diversify their businesses.
