On 21 April 2026, Berlin - The Embassy of Malaysia in Berlin participated in the International Day programme at Berlin British School, with the valued support of PERWAKILAN Berlin. The event formed part of the Embassy’s continued efforts to strengthen people-to-people linkages through cultural outreach, culinary diplomacy, and public diplomacy initiatives.
Visitors had the opportunity to experience a taste of Malaysia through live food demonstrations and servings of popular Malaysian favourites, including karipap, roti canai with kuah dal, roti jala with chicken curry, and teh tarik.
The Malaysian booth also featured demonstrations of traditional games such as congkak and batu seremban, introducing participants to elements of Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage in an interactive and engaging manner. Furthermore, as part of ongoing Visit Malaysia promotional efforts, a fun quiz on Malaysia was also organised in the booth.
The booth was warmly received by students, parents, and members of the school community, and reflected the positive impact of cultural engagement in fostering friendship, mutual understanding, and greater appreciation of Malaysia in Germany.
