On 15 April 2026, Berlin - H.E. Ambassador Mohamad Razdan Jamil participated in Zukunftstag Mittelstand 2026 in Berlin, the flagship event of the BVMW (German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses), where he had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Klaus Richter, Executive Director of Inros-Lackner.
During the meeting, discussions focused on potential collaboration in infrastructure development, particularly in the areas of flood mitigation and renewable energy. The exchange highlighted Malaysia’s growing need for modern and sustainable solutions to address the increasing challenges of flooding, as well as the importance of expanding renewable energy capacity to support emerging sectors such as digital infrastructure and data centres.
Both sides also explored opportunities for collaboration through public-private partnerships (PPP), including potential engagements with key Malaysian stakeholders and industry players. The discussion further demonstrated mutual interest in strengthening Malaysia–Germany cooperation in infrastructure development and energy transition, while identifying areas where German expertise and technology could contribute to Malaysia’s long-term development priorities
