On 20 November 2025, Ambassador Mohamad Razdan Jamil presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Ceremony was held at Schloss Bellevue in Berlin.
Diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Germany were established on 31 August 1957. Since then, the bilateral relations between the two countries have grown significantly as reflected particularly in the political, social and cultural fields. Germany is Malaysia's largest trading partner in the EU.
