The Honourable Prime Minister Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Haji Abdul Razak arrived at the Berlin-Tegel Airport on 26 September 2016 to begin his Official Visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. He was accompanied by wife Her Excellency Datin Sri' Rosmah Mansor, The Honourable Minister of International Trade and Industry Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed and wife as well as The Honourable Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong and wife.
Upon arrival, Prime Minister Najib was received by Ambassador of Malaysia H.E. Dato' Zulkifli Adnan and H.E. Ambassador Juergen Christian Mertens, Chief of Protocol at the German Federal Foreign Office representing the German Federal Government.
The Honourable Dato' Sri Najib will undertake his first Official Visit to the Federal Republic of Germany as the Prime Minister of Malaysia on 27-28 September 2016. The visit was also the first visit to Germany by the Prime Minister of Malaysia since The Honourable Dato' Sri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's visit in 2005.
